So the challah rose, and the baking in the oven happened.
The final result:

We measure the challah in terms of raisins per square inch. I passed the test and the challah was judged edible!

All in all, it a big success for the start of the New Year.

In the interest of full disclosure, I wanted to reveal a baby afghan started more than a year ago. It is 27 or so rows per repeat, so the going is slow. It looks nice. I am knitting on a US#10 needle - perhaps a little large? I'm not sure about the openness being too much or not, yet. Anyway, here is the Dreamy Wrap Baby Afghan in Bernat - "Sage" colorway.

Another disclosure: A lovely bolero for myself in burgundy Debbie Bliss Cashmerino from Rowan Classic Style - Called "Sparkle". The back is done. The glitch here is that the pattern doesn't clearly describe the pattern repeats when the increasing and decreasing occurs. It needs to be graphed out, in order to stay in pattern.

Hi - the challah looks wonderful - as does both the baby blanket and the bolero - nice work!
Holy cow, that's some good looking challah. They just don't add anywhere near enough raisins in northern California.
