All knitting projects are now on hold!! Do not let me pick any knitting needles up until my quilt/fabric related commitments are finished. There are two chuppahs that need to get done. I hope I can hold to this promise.
I've spent Christmas Day working on my son Matthew and future daughter-in-law Brianna's Chuppah. I am getting ready to hand appliqué eight doves, in addition to hearts and flowers on the quilt that will be used at their wedding ceremony. I dug deep into my fabric stash and came up with a color scheme that matches their ketubah. I plan to be appliquéing the birds down on the sky fabric during the next few weeks. Will show you progress as it happens.
