Finished Gloves!

Behold the Lace Artists' Gloves! They are very soft and lovely. I was so envious once I had gifted them to a co-worker, that I decided to make myself a pair. I've just finished the right glove, and am knitting on the left one today. Hope to have a new pair by tonight. I find the Lion Brand Cashmere very soft - 72% Merino Wool, 14% Cashmere, 14% Nylon. Just love that merino and cashmere blend - give it to me anytime. Each glove took almost a full ball- I had 10 grams left over in the ball in case anyone's interested. As for the Lion Brand product, it was almost perfect, with just minor imperfections such as an extra tuft of yarn that I had to knit into the lace pattern - right in front. Wouldn't you know it?

I am awaiting a very tiny circular US#6 needle that I ordered from A Mano - a great shop in Venice. I want to try doing this glove on a circular needle.

Specs:

Pattern: Lace Artists' Gloves from Yarn Barn
Yarn:Lion Brand Cashmere Blend 1 ball per glove
Needles: US#6 Double Point
Changes: Added on several extra repeats both before and past the thumb gusset for an extra warm glove. I knit a total of seven pattern repeats and the pattern called for only four repeats.
