Bolero for Me!

Little did I know that I was knitting myself a bolero. It sure is cute, but it wasn't supposed to be for me. I was knitting to gauge, but needed to pick a smaller size and trust "negative" ease. I know for sure that this size would be too big for its intended recipient. So, as promised, I am starting a smaller size today for T.
Take a look at my new bolero.

How about a look outside?

A close up of the knitted yarn-over pattern, that the lady at the yarn shop thought was crochet. Can you imagine that? Crochet!

Specs:

· Pattern: Sirdar Country Style #8621

· Yarn: Sirdar Snuggly Baby Care DK in Oyster, 60% Acrylic, 40% Cotton 4 balls

-147 yds/ball (total of 200 grams minus 20 grams remaining)

· Needles: US#6 and US#8 straights

· Changes: none

· Started: April 8, 2006

· Finished: May 18, 2006

So, it's back to the knitting needles pronto, because I still remember the pattern, and I need to produce another bolero fast.
