Going Green

I've been keeping myself busy with a new green project for myself, which I am calling Provence Basil Lace skirt from Classic Elite's new knitting patterns. The color is a much prettier than photographed color - kinda like a medium sage green which I named Basil. The yarn is 100% cotton, and very soft. I bought the yarn when I was back East near DC in a small suburb called Vienna, Virginia.

Here's a close up so you can see how great the stitch markers I have happen to go with the skirt color (not at all planned!)

Here is the progress on the flounce as of today, about 8 inches of the eleven.

The lace repeat is so easy, a quick 4 row pattern, which at first I did not like and was going to sub. However, now I think I like it and am glad I didn't change the lace pattern.
